Personal care and household cleaning products company aiming for traceability to mills by early 2015.

As of January 2019, The Forest Trust has become Earthworm Foundation.

We are pleased to announce that Australian personal care and household cleaning company Natures Organics has become a TFT palm oil member and pledged No Deforestation and No Exploitation in its palm oil supply chain.

The company has announced its sourcing policy, which means all palm oil and palm kernel oil derived ingredients supplied to Natures Organics must protect High Carbon Stock (HCS) forests and High Conservation Values (HCV), while also protecting the rights of workers and people living within the communities where palm oil is produced. Natures Organics will also actively facilitate the inclusion of smallholders into its supply chain.

TFT will help Natures Organics to map its palm oil supply chain back to source, initially working to achieve traceability to mills by early 2015. TFT teams will work closely with all suppliers to provide the support needed to overcome any barriers to traceability. Once supply back to mills is known, further engagement within the supply chain will enable us to work back to plantation, and this will ultimately mean that Natures Organics will know the source of all of its oil and we can work with any suppliers who need support to meet the standards set out in the policy.
