Your Role

As an Accountant in the Switzerland team, you will be primarily responsible for:

• Managing quarterly financial closings
• Performing intercompany bank reconciliations
• Provide key support during the annual audit process
• Proceeds to VAT returns and assist with tax audits
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
• Prepare internal financial reports.

Your Profile 

We are seeking an outgoing and mission-driven Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who not only excels at handling financial data but is also passionate about contributing to the company's broader mission. 

You have a keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every task. Your principled approach reflects a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in all financial practices. A professional accounting qualification is a strong asset, and your experience working with multiple currencies enhances your global perspective. You are highly proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel, enabling you to streamline processes and deliver precise results.

We are looking for someone who is helpful and supportive, working closely with team members to offer guidance on financial matters and ensure compliance with regulations. Good knowledge of Swiss GAAP standards is required. With your warm and people-oriented nature, you build trusting relationships, fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment where everyone feels supported. 

Working Conditions

• Education: Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferable)
• Experience: 3 years minimum
• Language(s): English proficiency; French an asset
• Employment: Part-time (60-80%)
• Location: Nyon, Switzerland
• Valid working permit in the country
