Your Role

 

As the Social and Business Management Specialist, your day will be primarily focused on:

  • Developing and periodically updating the regional strategy for business transformation and social impact. 
  • Establishing new partnerships to enhance EF’s influence on supply chains and connected communities. 
  • Creating and sharing technical tools to improve the efficiency of EF’s initiatives. 
  • Ensuring team alignment on business transformation processes and social projects. 
  • Prioritizing companies and developing action plans for environmental and social transformation. 
  • Work in a hybrid model, combining remote work, office presence, and field trips to often remote or rustic locations as needed.

     

Working Conditions

 

  • Education: University degree or higher in a field related to sociology, anthropology, rural development business management or agriculture;
  • Language(s): Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; Portuguese: desirable
  • Employment: Full-time/Open-ended
  • Location: Quito, Ecuador
  •  Experience: 5 years minimum
     

                 

Your Profile 

 

You excel in human relations and can effectively communicate your expertise to diverse audiences, making you as an asset to any team. Your role involves promoting the transformation of supply chain companies toward environmental and social responsibility, leading social projects in Ecuador and the region, and forging new alliances to enhance business transformation efforts. You contribute to regional team alignment on social projects, represent EF at events, and develop communication tools for members. Collaborating with Member Managers, you ensure practical engagement in supply chain solutions while coordinating work plans with partners. Additionally, you engage with external stakeholders for outreach and research, conduct field visits to assess and improve company practices, and lead internal learning groups in your area of expertise.
