Your mission

Being the Strategic Analyst your day within Earthworm Foundation will be busy with: 

  • Leading on the engagement of palm oil suppliers within Earthworms member supply chains;
  • Leading internal and external discussions and propose technical solutions to help strengthen and improve deliverables and services;
  • Ensuring team members follow global data management policies and procedures
  • Coordinating and preparing for meetings (PP & Excel proficiency expected) and activities with Earthworms supply chain partners (such as quarterly/bi-annual meetings and project site visits);
  • Represent Earthworm and participate in working groups and/or forums related to topics such as land use planning & verification.

Your profile 

We are looking for a passionate leader with at least 5 years of experience in consulting or the industry, particularly in palm oil, corporate sustainability, agriculture, and supplier engagement. Your expertise in project management, client relationship management, and engaging with both downstream companies and upstream suppliers will be highly valued. A deep understanding of environmental and social issues in the agricultural and forestry sectors, especially related to palm oil, and familiarity with the No Deforestation, Peat, and Exploitation (NDPE) concept is essential.

In this role, you will need to demonstrate advanced agility in adapting to organizational dynamics and strong interdepartmental collaboration skills. Your ability to speak publicly, organize effectively, think critically, and analyze complex situations will be crucial. Leadership capability, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and data management expertise will further enhance your effectiveness. 

As a leader of our dynamic team at Earthworm Foundation Malaysia, you’ll be the crucial link between our Global team and local Malaysian teams. This role requires someone who can adapt quickly to changing work dynamics and collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Office based role, Kuala Lumpur
  • Citizenship or legal permission to work in the country
