Your role
As a Sustainability Data Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for:
Understanding the data needs of the different internal teams and translating the needs into technical requirements
Creating, implementing, reviewing and improving internal data processes, including data structure, data handling and quality controls
Creating data solutions for new commodities, products, or services (internal and external)
Designing and implementing different dashboards to better visualize the data and guide actions
Exploring new data driven solutions to challenges faced in data collection / management and supporting the different teams with analysis of data to enable data-driven decisions
Managing relationships with external partners we work with for data solutions.
Your Profile
Passionate about agriculture, social science, rural development, forestry and conservation you aim to leverage your knowledge, experience and appetite for technology to generate positive impact in these areas and address the global challenges of our time.
Being an intellectual pioneer, meticulous and detailed-focused, you like when things are done correctly. You have an analytical background and thrive in developing reliable tools to facilitate data management, ultimately enabling your colleagues to work more efficiently. You are a self-starter and autonomous, with genuine curiosity and willingness to learn from others. You enjoy working with team members across countries and functions and you take initiative whenever an opportunity arises.
With excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding communication and a helpful, supportive mindset you naturally animate sessions with a variety of stakeholders to work on diverse and sometimes complex projects. At ease in a dynamic environment, you are not afraid to speak-up and ask questions to peers and superiors in order to bring high quality outputs. Thanks to your intense creative, “out-of-the-box” thinking, you build user-friendly templates, tools, dashboards and high value presentations which makes you a great asset to the team.
Demonstrated Advanced Excel skills, including VBA, advanced Tableau skills are required, experience of Python and SQL would be a great plus to be successful in the role.
